![]() ![]() OK, maybe Vixen to run my Christmas lights too. SCS is the only reason I keep a Windows computer in my house. The X32 is easy to configure so that once I get the output levels the way I want them, I do EVERYTHING through SCS. It is in use in over 600 theaters, churches, and schools around the world. It can control external devices via a Phidget USB device by cue. The main version will play multiple sounds, fades, cross fades, delays to autostarts, etc. I love QLab but for the money, I’ll take SCS.Ĭonnected via USB to the X32, I have it set up for 8 output channels of which I am using 6: Stereo FoH, Stereo RoH and two offstage specials. Cue Player Premium ( disclaimer: my software) is a Windows equivalent to Qlab. The next morning I had an email with an explanation of what had gone wrong and how to avoid it. I posted that and the crash log file it generated to the SCS Bug Report forum at 1am CST. I had a couple of crashes during a tech rehearsal and was able to capture a screen shot of the error message. I re-upped my subscription for this show (SCS Pro, for the exorbitant price of $30) to get the latest version for my latest show. For the price, SCS is utterly unbeatable. ![]() QLab is awesome (especially for projections) and by many measures, the gold standard - but it costs an arm and a leg. But it's very quick to learn and has fantastic support. Will it do everything that QLab does? I doubt it. I am using Show Cue System (Pro) though an X32 right now and running still slides projections through a big HD projector ( really big) at the same time using an "old" Dell M4800 (16GB/SSD) and it has not missed a beat.
